Punjab Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criterias for the Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025 is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.

Nationality	A candidate must be a permanent resident of India.
Age Limit	One’s age shouldn’t be below 18 years and above 28 years as of January 01, 2025, the upper age relaxation is applicable as per government rules: SC/ST/OBC: Up to 5 years Ex-Servicemen: Up to 3 years + military service duration Government Employees: Up to 5 years
Educational Qualification	One must have passed the Intermediate exam from a school recognised by the PSEB, Mohali, or CSBE, New Delhi. Individuals who belong to the Ex-Servicemen category at least have passed the Matriculation exam. Additionally, the candidate must have studied Punjabi as a language subject at Matriculation level.
Height Requirement	A male candidate should be atleast 5’7″ (170.2 cm), and height requirement for female is 5’2″ (157.5 cm).
Medical Requirements	Candidates should be medically fit and free from any disability that may interfere with duty performance.

Punjab Police Constable Pay Scale 2025

Candidates who will be appointed as Constable under the Punjab Police will get the monthly basic pay of ₹19,000/ during the three year probation period with additional benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, and others. After the probation period, the pay scale will be revised as per 8th CPC.
